The City of Langford was recently nationally recognized as being a standout community in British Columbia, most recently topping a list by Maclean's Magazine.
The established publication outlet has listed Langford as the best community in British Columbia to live and the 18th most livable place in the country.
The report from Maclean’s took into account affordability, population growth, taxes, crime, amenities, health, community, weather, and internet access in order to build out their national ranking as well as factoring in those communities where residents could work and study from home.

This community is so nice and tight knit, you will be able to walk everywhere. You could even retire your car and get a bike! Keep in shape, save on gas, and get to where you need to go in just a brief ride. It’s just a five-minute bike ride from the Westshore Town Centre Mall to the Westhills Stadium. Here you can check out the home offices of Rugby Canada, a football game with the CJFL’s Westshore Rebels, or a professional soccer game, home to the Pacific FC. This stadium is located in City Centre Park which also has additional entertainment. This park features an outdoor skating rink for the winter season, a bowling alley, mini golf, a splash park, and more, with many of the aforementioned activities being FREE!
